Little Alex is a Persian Boy, An Iranian jeweller family son. He is to write me my story. His mother told him to go straight along the road, and Not to take the footpath, nor stop to play.
Little Ali (we call him) has scarcely heard that is true before he begins to feel tired to write for me. So he doesn’t alter his plans, and tries to write the story on a little notebook. This is Mysterious! He can balance it as well as the Sherlock Holmes, the famous fictional detective can!
Still, it is tiring after a time. So our little Ali tries another way. It is very odd. This new way is tiring too.
Truth is Stranger than fiction! he decides to write no fiction but a true story about a heavenly chinese round jade. Little ali thinks again it is the high road that is so fatiguing and determines to take the foot path despite his mother warning not doing so.
But there are stones on the footpath poor little ali has a fall. Little ali rests for few minutes to recover himself. It is very cold and he wishes he could think of some good way to finish his story. Ah,dear! his hand dont move. It is broken but his jade is tough. He needs help.An idea comes to his head!
If he can only slow down and ask for a little help maybe buy some time but no , that didn’t do. The best way after all , is to chop wood and carry water in the story like a lot of recovering sick people. Ah , this bad condition , the plan slipped down again.hr doesnt sell his priceless jade.
Another idea comes into little ali’s head!” A little rounder story he says to himself,His arm gets healed by grace of god. out to roll with that let me try to write this. Here I am, just at the very place where the path to my little story goes downhill. Hurrah! A great story! I found a great book.
The little round jade story adventure sets off all alone and rolls to the very bottom of a near canyon. But at the bottom of the canyon the little rounded story stops in a little puddle and gets rather dirty.
Fortunately, a brook is close by with a handful of green grass and a little water, the little round jade story will soon be clean as ever!
Little ali has hoisted his round jade story in his head again to cross the brook.when crossing he sees a little black fish in the water and can not help looking at it. But little ali lost his balance and oh,dear! There is our little round jade story in the water!!
When crossing he sees a little black fish in the water. And cannot help looking at them. But little ali has lost his balance and oh dear there is our little jade story in the water. The little round story is soon fished out, but water is wet now our little round jade is wet too.
A little more than alcohol a fugitive substance. Happily, the sun is shining. Our little round jade will dry in no time.
Propped up against the great round stone. While the little ali’s story drying, little ali will try to catch some fish with a stick.
Behind little ali’s back inquisitive geese come to see what it is that is shining and is standing against the great round stone. They try to peck a hole in our little round jade. Little ali hears the geese and drives then off. then he goes on comfortably with his fishing.
Here come some little black fish, and oh dear!
A very large one is going to bite the stick. Right now! “what does that little ugly dog want with my jade “says ali to himself and out loud.
“He looks small but mischievous.”the little dog runs away as soon as ali moves toward him.
Little ali completes his defeat by throwing stones after the little dog.
It is time to be setting off again. “any idea” says little ali “suppose I carry water and chop wood; suppose I carry the story on this stick over my shoulder. ”like this
_nothing could be better.
” It answers very well. Little ali walks along steadily and our priceless jade gradually approaches its journey’s end.
But our story has slipped ali’s lips because little ali tird of stooping, tries to run walk too upright.
Now a little splendid idea comes into little ali head, and ali tries it at once. Decidedly this last way is the most comfortable of all. Little ali put a flint stone with the story with And so little ali and our little round story reach my house at last. “Thank You, little ali, what a little good boy you are!”
Perhaps all this may explain why our round story sometimes seems not quite so fresh as it might be!
